MYREGGAE’S PRIVACY POLICY

MyReggae is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We think it is important for you to understand how we collect, use and keep your information. Our privacy policy is intended to explain our privacy procedures and to let you know a) the type of your information which we collect from you and how we do it, b) how we use the information, c) when and how we disclose such information to others, d) your options regarding our use of it , and your ability to change the information; and finally e) how we intend to protect your information.

What Information MyReggae Collects

We collect information about you when you visit and use our site, when you order music, provide us with information or take advantage of our services (for shorthand purposes we will refer to this collectively as, the "Site"). If you wish you can visit the Site and learn about us, our related products and services, and learn the best ways to contact us without giving us any personal or confidential information.

We collect information about you in a variety of contexts. For purposes of illustration but not limitation, you may be required to provide us with personal information when or if you: (1) complete any type online form, questionnaire or survey; (2) fill out an order form; (3) provide information so you can participate in message boards and chat rooms (if any) and other similar activities; or (4) purchase any products or services from or through us or from a business partner of ours. You do not have to provide us with requested information but if you do not we may limit the products or services we offer or provide to you.

We use this information to conduct internal research on our users' including demographics, interests, and preferences, and to assist us in our never ending attempt to improve the Site and our user overall experience.

MyReggae’s Use of Your Information

First of course we use your information to better provide you with the services you request. When you purchase anything from MyReggae, we will use your personally identifiable information to process and fulfill your order and for any related customer service purposes. As to your credit card information, we share it only as required by companies involved in your transaction (e.g., fulfillment, billing, mailing, and storage or delivery services). We will not share your credit card information with any third party unless that company needs the number for the fulfillment or delivery of your order. Also, we do not share credit card information with promotional partners or other third parties.

We may also use the information we collect about you for various internal purposes, to what we hope will be improvements to our Site, content and products. We may use the information to contact you about offers of new products or services that we or our promotional partners believe may be of interest to you. Of course you can always decide to receive fewer or no communications at all from us, that is called “opting out”. You may opt out by following the instructions included in the communication you no longer wish to receive or by sending an email to us at, service@MyReggae.com and letting us know how you would like to change what materials you receive from us.

MyReggae’s Disclosure of Your Information

At times we may make your information available to others. Who? Those who provide information, products, goods or services that you have requested through the Site; When we hire companies to work with or on behalf us to assist in our operations and/or with the products and services we provide to you. We ask that these entities treat your information in a confidential manner). When we co-branded we may to pass any information you provide in the context of our co-branding and marketing relationship to our co-branding partner. Their use of your information is subject to their own privacy policies. Of course, we provide it when we are required by law to a governmental agency, court or other entity (e.g., to respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process). Also, we do so if we believe that providing the information is necessary to comply with any relevant laws or regulations, or to enforce or apply the terms of our User Agreement or any conditions relating to promotions, programs, product offerings or any other features or functions of the Site, or to protect and/or defend our right or that of our, its suppliers, advertisers, other customers or users, or any other party where we deem it appropriate;

Reviewing and Changing Your Personally Identifiable Information

By going to the “My Account “section of our Site you can access, review, update and correct any information which you have provided to us. While you can correct and update your personal information you may not, once posted be able to change or remove any public postings made by you on the Site, including our chat rooms or other message areas.

How we Safeguard Your Information

MyReggae follows generally accepted industry security standards created to protect your information and to hopefully prevent any unauthorized access to and the disclosure and use of your information. For credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Unfortunately no transmission of information over the Internet is completely secure from interception; we use and will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your information.

Privacy of Information Regarding Children

We do not knowingly collect data or accept registrations from children under 13 years of age. The Site is primarily targeted to adults or to minors who are coordinating their use of our Site with their parents as evidenced by our requirement that all registered users provide a valid credit card number. If in the future we ever do compile information on children under the age of 13 we will comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA.

Links to Other Sites

The Site may contain links to web sites and services owned or maintained by others. We are not responsible for and have no control over the policies and practices of such third parties. Many of them may be substantially different from our related policies. We would hope that you review their privacy policies before you provide them with any information.

Nothing stays the same in life or on the Web. Therefore we reserve the right to modify, alter and/or update our Privacy Policy at any time. Please review our Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the changes to our Privacy Policy. In our discretion we may also attempt to notify you of any changes via email and/or by placing a notice on our home page. However, we are not obligating ourselves to do so.

Acceptance of This Privacy Policy

So if you use the Site, buy or use our products or services you are agreeing to these terms just as if you signed a written contract. If you do not agree then please, accept our apologies but do not proceed with using the Site.
